I have been in the insurance industry since September 1989 when I began with National Mutual based in their office in Coastland Mall, Paraparaumu. I specialise in helping self-employed tradesmen/women manage their risks through business and personal insurance products as well as helping them to utilize the benefits available to them through ACC Cover Plus Extra.

I am a Financial Adviser, and I attained my Level 5 Certificate in Life and Health Insurances in 2018. I am the Managing Director and sole adviser of Arthur Rowney Financial Services Ltd (incorporated April 2002) and I use the services of a remote Personal Assistant, whose company is a perfect fit for the work I do.

I am a very regular gym participant and enjoy being involved in musical theatre in my free time. I have been married to my wife Dawn since March 1980 and we have a son and daughter and three grandchildren aged 9, 6 and 4. We live in Paraparaumu Beach where we have been for the 34 years I have been in this industry.
